Digital Razor was founded in 1999 in Johnstown, PA. Later that year we became incorporated as a Pennsylvania C Corporation under the name Digital Razor, Inc. Originally the company was set up to focus on providing high-end graphic design, video editing, web development, and web hosting. In 2000, we started expanding our services to include Information Technology (IT) Solutions which allowed us to begin providing hardware and software support and consulting services.
In April 2002, we added more services by purchasing a local ISP. This enabled us to provide more “cutting edge Internet services” ranging from 56k dial-up through frame relays to DSL. Since then we've taken the appropriate steps to expand and supply other solutions and most recently wireless Internet, fiber optics and voice technologies.
Throughout 2005 and 2006 Digital Razor began supplying their customers with options for safeguarding their privacy and enabling failsafe solutions. With an ever-growing reliance on the Internet, it was essential for us to begin offering Redundancy Solutions, Email/Filtering, Disaster Recovery, and On-site Backup solutions. Digital Razor also began providing smaller Internet Service Providers with an ISP infrastructure which allowed them to focus on marketing and developing a sales plan. That service is known as Virtual Internet Service Provider (VISP).
By expanding upon the expertise of our team, Digital Razor has developed into a multi-faceted company thriving in the Internet, Data Center, and IT/Communications divisions. We most recently have added VoIP phone services and Wireless Internet packages. We are very anxious about our newest investment, Fiber Optic solutions. Fiber Optic solutions will allow many different types of services to utilize just a single fiber connection. This will enable a new market for our three divisions and will create packages and bundles to give us a competitive advantage in the supplier market.
